I’m Hannah, the designer and creator behind Hannah Teale Design, founded in 2025 after graduating with a degree in Textile Design, specialising in embroidery. I studied at the amazing Glasgow School of Art.
My work is all about storytelling through thread, celebrating bold pattern, vibrant colour, and rich textures. Inspired by the textile tales of the animal kingdom, I am naturally drawn to all things bright, joyful, and unapologetically maximalist.
I love to collage with fabrics and experiment across a range of textile techniques, including digital embroidery, hand stitching, tufting and traditional machine embroidery.
From statement cushions to unique embroidered artworks and wall hangings, I design playful, expressive homeware pieces that bring personality to any space.
